A town which can be pressed in no pattern. French, English and American way of life meet just, as 300 year-old stone houses meet postal-modern "shoe box buildings". The latter nevertheless being already an architectural cultural monument. They were built already in 1967 based on plans of a 23-year-old architect.

The people change with ease from French into English language, but also many other languages seem no problem.

The atmosphere here seems to be cheerful and relaxed. Street cafes and restaurants provide a rich choice for every taste. In addition there is always a lot of entertainment. Between all artists (with excellent street music) one can well imagine that the Cirque du Soleil has its’ routes here.
